College Basketball Tuesday Best Value on DraftKings

The five DraftKings players our projections rate best for their salary on Tuesday, November 3, one per game across the 8-game slate. Graded after the games.

CBB reaches night two on Tuesday, November 3, with 8 games on the DraftKings main slate and projections that now include Monday’s opening-night box scores. Most teams have one game of real data behind those projections, enough to update the inputs without treating them as settled. First tip is Wofford at Tennessee at 6:00 PM ET, so use this list to start your salary decisions before then.

How we found them

Our 86 eligible players are ranked by projected DraftKings points, adjusted for their chance to play, per $1,000 of salary. A player needs at least an 80% chance to play, 15 projected minutes and one clean name match to qualify.

The eligible pool’s median value is 2.53 points per $1,000. We take the top 5 while allowing only one player per game, using the same rule that produced opening night’s list. Use that median to put each value score in context, then check the playing-time projection before committing salary.

Build lineups around these players

Mo Dioubate, LSU, F, $3,000: His 26.3 projected DK points and 27.6 projected minutes produce an 8.59 value score against New Orleans at 8:00 PM ET, with a 98% chance to play. He is the cheapest player here and the obvious value, so expect him to be popular and account for that when building around him.

Isaac Johnson, Manhattan, F, $3,700: Johnson projects for 25.0 DK points in 21.1 minutes at Kentucky at 7:00 PM ET, good for a 5.68 value score. His 84% chance to play makes availability a check before you use him.

Abdou Toure, Arkansas, G, $4,500: Toure carries 22.9 projected DK points, 26.9 projected minutes and a 5.07 value score against Arkansas-Pine Bluff at 8:00 PM ET. His chance to play is 100%, and the game’s projected total is 169.4; consider him when comparing guards in this salary range.

Anderson Diaz, Alabama, G, $3,000: Diaz projects for 14.4 DK points in 17.0 minutes, with a 100% chance to play and a 4.81 value score. Sam Houston at Alabama tips at 7:30 PM ET with the slate’s highest projected total, 173.2, but keep that 17.0-minute role in view.

Joe Sayler, South Dakota State, G, $5,000: Sayler’s 32.5 projected minutes support 24.0 projected DK points and a 4.18 value score at Kansas State at 8:00 PM ET. His chance to play is 87%, so check his status before using that projected workload.

The numbers above are the preview. The list freezes in the hour before the 6:00 PM ET tip, and the table shows the frozen version once it does. Treat all five as leans.
